Volunteer in Muhanga

Want to help on site in Uganda? To visit Uganda and meet the people in CAVODE means both giving and getting. It also means a big responsibility and some preparations. You can read about previous visits below.

All board members have been at the project in Muhanga and we are happy to share our experiences. We can also help you to arrange a trip. Don’t hesitate to contact us!

For students, it is also possible to make a minor field study at our project as part of a master thesis for example.

February-March 2013:

Elisabeth, Emilia, Josefine, Sara, Johanna and Simon visited the project.

August-September 2013:

Representatives from the design team of ASF St Catherine visited. During Robert and Carlos’ 10 days in Uganda they ran a workshop week together with Katrin. She stayed for 3 more weeks in total combined with other tours in Uganda and Tanzania. Katrin’s work was part of her volontary intership at architects without borders.

July-August 2014

Zola Guo and Robert Ågren visited the project. Zola was doing her master thesis in water resource management and Robert carried out maintenance on the existing buildings.
